SANCTUARY COVE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW
One of the most prestigious boat shows in the Asia-Pacific region is held on the Gold Coast each May. This year is from May 24 to May 27 and is staged at Sanctuary Cove, one of Australia’s premier residential, boating and golfing resorts.
The 19th annual event builds on its reputation as a leading Asia-Pacific Show where marine business does business. The 2006 event attracted over 49,000 serious visitors and had record exhibitors of 423.
This year over 365 boats on the water and a further 457 boats in pavilions and hard stand exhibits confirm the Show’s status as the largest on-water display at an Australian Boat Show.
There’s a cluster of significant boating events scheduled around Sanctuary Cove’s show including the Australian Marine Awards managed by the Australian Marine Industries Federation.
International Buyers and marine executives from many countries visit the show including China, Korea, USA, UK, New Zealand, France, South Africa and Italy.
At the Show there is a ‘marine dream’ for everyone and this includes the first showing of the new Australian Cheoy Lee DAYDREAM 75 cleverly adapted from the CL72 to suit tropical conditions.
Sanctuary Cove’s Village shops, wonderful waterfront restaurants and marina promenades create a chic backdrop.
