Z-Tech Pequeni delivered

On Sunday March 20th, Cheoy Lee Shipyards handed over Pequeni, the sixth unit of the latest thirteen Z-Tech 6500 tug order of the Panama Canal Authority. Pequeni set off on her 10,000nm trans-pacific crossing to Panama, a voyage that takes around 1-1/2 months. Around 25 days from Hong Kong to Honolulu, then a further 20 days on to Panama.

The 6000hp tugs are built to Lloyds Register of Shipping class, with the notation LR +100AN Tug, +LMC UMS for service in the Panama Canal and approaches.
