TWO SIMILAR-SIZE EXPEDITION YACHTS FROM TWO SUCCESSFUL ASIAN BUILDERS SHOW THE EASTERN TAKE ON A WESTERN PASSION

TEXT BY MARILYN MOWER

While the idea of expedition yachts is a Western passion, 2012 saw the delivery of two expedition yachts of Far East origin 150-foot Mazu from Chinese builder Cheoy Lee and 148-foot Polaris from Horizon Yachts of Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
